The Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority (GEA), Turki AlalShikh announced that the capital, Riyadh, will host Cirque du Soleil’s OVO show, which begins on Wednesday, October 12, and continues until December 3. The show is organized by the GEA at the headquarters of Princess Nourah bint Abdul Rahman University.
Attractive, fun and dazzling, the show revolves around the story of the insect community, which is disturbed when a mysterious egg containing a strange creature arrives in its territory. Performing artists play the role of insects.
OVO is an exciting experience, with acrobatics showcasing the unique personalities and abilities of selected insect species, as well as revealing the beauty of biodiversity in all its diversity.
The show, which has been watched by 7 million people in 26 different countries, features about 100 performers from 25 nationalities, including 52 performers on the stage, in which they present dazzling acrobatic shows to the sounds of music from South America.
The show is presented over 5 days period, Tuesday to Saturday. It starts on Tuesday and Wednesday at 8:00 pm, and at 4:00 pm on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
