In the women’s category, Spanish duo Ariana Sánchez Fallada and Paula Josemaría Martín were crowned champions for the second consecutive year, following the unfortunate withdrawal of Cristina Fernández Sánchez and Beatriz González Fernández due to injury.
The decision came after a thorough medical evaluation, which ruled that González Fernández was unable to continue due to an injury sustained in earlier rounds. Despite their determination to compete, the team prioritized her full recovery.
Sánchez and Josemaría’s title defense was not merely a result of the withdrawal; the duo displayed exceptional tactical and technical performance throughout the tournament, reaffirming their status as top contenders.
In the men’s final, Argentina’s Agustín Tapia and Spain’s Alejandro Coello delivered a commanding performance, defeating Spain’s Juan Lebrón—last year’s champion—alongside Argentina’s Franco Stupaczuk in a thrilling three-set match.
