HE Turki Alalshikh, Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority (GEA), announced today that Saudi Arabia will host its first-ever POWER SLAP event under the title POWER SLAP 11. The event will feature a heavyweight showdown between Da Crazy Hawaiian and his rival Dumpling for the super-heavyweight title on Thursday, January 30, at the anb Arena in Riyadh.
Tickets are now available on the Webook platform, and the event is part of a special week that also includes the highly anticipated return of the UFC to Saudi Arabia on Saturday, February 1, as part of Riyadh Season activities.
POWER SLAP founder Dana White expressed his excitement, saying, “I’m incredibly thrilled to bring the first-ever POWER SLAP event to Saudi Arabia. Fans are in for an amazing experience: two adrenaline-filled events in one week, with POWER SLAP on Thursday and UFC on Saturday. This week is all about the fans—you don’t want to miss it.”
The main event will see a rematch between two legends of slap-fighting. Current super-heavyweight world champion Da Crazy Hawaiian (record: 15-1-1, with 13 knockouts) will face top-ranked contender Dumpling (record: 1-0-1, with 1 knockout) to settle their previous draw from POWER SLAP 9.
In the co-main event, light-heavyweight champion Wolverine (record: 14-5, with 5 knockouts) will defend his title for the third time against rising challenger Fern “The Mechanic” Cathy (record: 5-2, with 4 knockouts), whose powerful strikes have gained him widespread recognition.
The event will also feature key matchups, including a pivotal clash between second-ranked light-heavyweight contender Russell “Kainoa” Rivero (4 wins – 3 losses, 3 by knockout) and third-ranked Austin “Turb Daddy Slim” Turpin (5 wins – 2 losses, 4 by knockout), which could reshape the rankings.
Additionally, super-heavyweight second-ranked Kalani “Toko” Vakameilalo (2 wins – 1 loss, 2 by knockout) will fight third-ranked Dani “The Pitbull” Van Heerden (5 wins – 2 losses, 4 by knockout) in an electrifying match.
On the women’s side, featherweight star Sheena “The Hungarian Hurricane” Bathory (3 wins – 0 losses, 2 by knockout) will seek revenge in a highly anticipated rematch against Jackie Katalin (1 win – 2 losses), rekindling their rivalry.
