The first-ever Power Slap event in Saudi Arabia, titled Power Slap 11, kicks off today (Thursday) at anb Arena as part of Riyadh Season. The event will feature the highly anticipated heavyweight title bout between American champion Da Crazy Hawaiian and his compatriot Dumpling, following the successful completion of all participants’ weigh-ins.
The main event will see an intense rematch between Da Crazy Hawaiian, who holds an impressive record of 15 wins, 1 loss, and 1 draw, with 13 of his victories coming by knockout, and Dumpling, who remains undefeated with 1 win and 1 draw, securing his lone victory via knockout. This bout aims to break the deadlock from their previous encounter at Power Slap 9.
In the co-main event, American light heavyweight champion Wolverine returns to defend his title against rising contender Vern “The Mechanic” Cathey, also from the U.S. Wolverine boasts 14 wins and 5 losses, with 5 knockouts to his name, while Cathey has a record of 5 wins and 2 losses, achieving 4 of his victories via knockout.
The event card also features decisive showdowns among top athletes, including a light heavyweight clash between Americans Russell “Kainoa” Rivero (4 wins, 3 losses, 3 KOs) and Austin “Turbodaddy Slim” Turpin (5 wins, 2 losses, 4 KOs), a fight that could significantly impact the division’s rankings.
