The General Entertainment Authority Launches the “Shaadoow” Interactive Singing App The General Entertainment Authority has launched the “shaadoow” app, which was developed by a group of creative Saudi youth. It enables fans to sing along with their favourite Arab singers to produce a karaoke or duo performance. The app includes 32 singers from all over the Arab world., it allows fans to use the most recent technologies to select their favourite singer/song and then produce a karaoke or duo performance they can record with different audio-visual effects. Users can also enjoy other features, such as lyrics subtitles, a wide variety of singers/songs, and music matched to their vocal range. Additionally, this positive artistic experience is sharable with friends on social media. A group of creative Saudis came up with the idea to compete with successful international platforms and social media apps, but they used a new and unprecedented idea realized by a team of audio-visual experts in accordance with the latest international standards. “shaadoow” is available to download on smartphones through the App Store or Google Play via shaadoow.com/app
