Al Suwaidi Park Introduces Visitors to Delicious Food and Beautiful Dances

Yesterday, Sunday, November 27, Al Suwaidi Park, one of the 15 entertainment zones in Riyadh Season 2022, introduced visitors to the Indian culture through musical performances, show troupes, and famous cuisine. On its first day, the activities of Indian Week included a concert by the Indian artist Shobana, who sang the most beautiful Indian songs that dazzled the audience who enjoyed the show and interacted favorably with it. The show was presented on a stage that was designed with decorations inspired by the Indian style. There were performances of famous Indian dances that focus on hand gestures, most notably the dances of "Barat Natyam" and "Kathak", amid the interaction and enthusiasm of the visitors, some of whom participated in the troupe's performances and folk dances. Participating restaurants were quite popular with visitors to Al Suwaidi Park, who were keen to taste the delicious Indian dishes offered by specialized restaurants, including Pepper Tree, which served biryani and masala in a way that visitors never tasted before. The bazaar section in the Indian Week contained outlets for selling many products, including perfumes and leather coats. Many visitors were keen to wear traditional Indian dress. Because the elephant represents a great symbol associated with Indian culture, a giant elephant in Al-Haditha Square attracted visitors who were keen to take selfies with it. The activities of Indian Week, which continues until November 30, include roving performances, and others at Al Suwaidi Stage. Visitors can also enjoy an eating experience, an agricultural experience, shopping in the bazaar and touring the carnival section, in addition to concerts, performances, and folk dances. Al Suwaidi Park introduces visitors to famous Indian dishes, which vary according to the climate from one city to another. Visitors will find that each dish has a special flavor and a different taste, and the most famous of these dishes are Spicy Rice, Indian Dal, Rogan Josh, Jalebi and Pani Puri.
