Members of the jury reacted passionately to the distinguished performance of the contestant Abdul Rahman bin Adel in the call to prayer category of the quarter-finals of the international Holy Quran and call to prayer competition. The performance re-energized the muezzin of the Grand Mosque, Ahmed Nahhas and made the imam of the Grand Mosque in Kuwait, Sheikh Mishary Al-Afasy, cry. All members of the jury reacted favorably and praised Abdul Rahman bin Adel's performance and style in delivering the call to prayer. The Holy Quran and call to prayer competition is one of the international initiatives of the General Entertainment Authority, which aims to glorify the Holy Quran and the call to prayer and highlight the aesthetics of the voices of reciters and muezzins.
