HE Salman bin Yousef Al-Dosari, Minister of Media, honored Riyadh Season with the Media Excellence Award in the Entertainment category during a ceremony held today (Monday) at Abu Bakr Salem Theater in Boulevard City. Ahmad Arafah, Executive Vice President of Marketing & Communications at the General Entertainment Authority (GEA), received the award on behalf of Riyadh Season, in recognition of its outstanding media efforts in promoting its events and enhancing its presence locally and internationally. As one of the region’s largest entertainment events, Riyadh Season has welcomed over 20 million visitors in its current edition, reflecting its remarkable success in attracting audiences and delivering world-class entertainment experiences. The season has played a pivotal role in positioning Saudi Arabia as a leading entertainment destination, hosting major global events and offering diverse experiences that appeal to a wide range of visitors. The Media Excellence Award, launched annually by the Ministry of Media, celebrates creative media contributions across various national events and media sectors. The award recognizes institutions and individuals who have contributed to advancing the media industry and enhancing content quality, fostering positive competition within the sector.
