The Play "Kidnap My Wife with My Regards" Attracts Riyadh Season Visitors

Riyadh Season 2022 theatrical activities continue in Boulevard Riyadh City with the start of the play "Ikhtaf Mirati Walak Tahiyat,” (Kidnap My Wife with My Regards) on the stage of Mohammed Al-Ali Theater. The audience has great fun and nonstop laughter with the comedy star Ahmed Bedir and other actors. The play, which started on December 22, tells the story of a couple (Hassan and Enas) who are forced by circumstances to live with Enas’s father, the stingy exploitative man. Hassan begins to think of living away from him, so, he agrees with his wife, Enas, to pretend that a gang kidnaps her and demands a ransom from her father. The events of the play continue with very funny situations and distinctive performances. The play has been well received by the audience. Along with Ahmed Bedir, many actors participate in the play, including Ahmed Eid, Badria Tolba, Mohammed Al-Sawy, and Ismail Farghali. It is the first theatrical work that brings together the two comedy stars, Ahmed Bedir and Ahmed Eid. At the end of the performance of the play, written by Amr Samir Atef and Michel Nabil, directed by Muhammad Jabr, whose poems were written by Adel Salama, and composed by Islam Zaki, its stars, led by Ahmed Bedir, saluted the audience for attending and interacting with the performance, to the applause of the audience. The show starts daily at 8:30 pm and ends at 11:00 pm.
