Turki Alalshikh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Entertainment Authority (GEA), announced the launch of a new entertainment zone, called Boulevard World, in Riyadh Season 2022, which is scheduled to open on October 21. Alalshikh indicated that this zone presents the cultures and vibes of several countries around the world through restaurants, markets and arts, in addition to options for diving underwater, and floating over Riyadh in cable cars. The participating countries in the new entertainment zone north of the capital, Riyadh, are America, France, Greece, India, China, Spain, Japan, Morocco, Mexico and Italy. These countries allow visitors of Riyadh Season 2022 to learn about their cultures, customs and traditions. The Boulevard World zone includes, in addition to the experience of foreign countries, the largest artificial lake in the world, where visitors can ride, for the first time in Riyadh Season, boats and submarines. The zone also includes distinctive entertainment options, such as the Combat Village, the Super Hero Village, the largest sphere in the world, and a cable car ride between the zone and the neighboring Boulevard Riyadh City, with a distance of up to 1.2 km. The zone allows visitors to enjoy other entertainment experiences, such as Boulevard Pier, Discovery, Monopoly Lifesized, The Mountain, Area 15, Ninja Warriors, and Fun Zone for children with various games and entertainment needs. Riyadh Season 2022 offers a mixture of exclusivity and modernity and makes the capital, Riyadh, a major incubator, a preferred destination and a stimulating space that exceeds the local and international imagination. It also contributes to raising the level of the entertainment sector industry and consolidating the Kingdom’s position as one of the most prominent regional and global entertainment destinations.
