After 7 days of intense competition among 18000 male and female competitors in Riyadh Winter Baloot Championship, Saud and Fahd Al-Shibani won the Championship. Abdulrahman Al-Matrafi and Yazid Al-Youbi won the second place, while Munawer and Abdullah Al-Otaibi won the third place. Ziad Al-Malki and Abdulrahman Al-Harbi got the fourth place. This is the third edition which is the largest in the history of the Championship, held as directed by Mr. Turki Bin Abdul Mohsen Al-Sheikh, the Chairman of General Entertainment Authority. Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Sultan, the President of Saudi Arabian Federation For Electronic & Intellectual Sports, and Eng. Faisal Bafarat, CEO of the General Entertainment Authority, have awarded the winning teams prizes amounted more than SR 2 million, in the final round that was held today (Saturday) at Riyadh Front. On the last day of the Championship, 4 teams qualified for the finals that lasted for two days. The preliminary round competitions lasted for 3 days, from which 16 competitors qualified for the final round (8 teams). The first place-winning team won a prize of SR 750 thousand and a BMW car. The second place-winning team won SR 500 thousand, while the third place-winning team won SR 250 thousand. The fourth to the eighth place-winning teams won SR 100 thousand, each.
