Yesterday evening (Sunday), 16 competitors (8 teams) out of 16000 competitors qualified for the finals. All the competitors vigorously contested for four days in the preliminary round of "Riyadh Winter Baloot" Championship, held as directed by Mr. Turki Bin Abdul Mohsen Al-Sheikh, the Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority. Total prizes of the Championship are SR 2 million. The Championship is held for the third time in the Kingdom, under the supervision of General Entertainment Authority. It is organized by the Saudi Arabian Federation For Electronic & Intellectual Sports, on 13-22 February in Riyadh Front area. Yesterday, 256 competitors competed in several rounds; each round is three matches (Sakat). The competitions witnessed the loss of the female participants after some of them qualified for higher rounds. The eight teams will play the final rounds next week at the Championship headquarters in Riyadh Front.
