HE Turki Alalshikh, Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority (GEA), announced a major milestone for Riyadh Season 2024, as the total number of visitors exceeded 16 million to date, reflecting the massive appeal and popularity of this global event. This achievement highlights the exceptional diversity of Riyadh Season’s events, which launched in October and recently introduced new zones that captivated visitors from within Saudi Arabia and abroad. Reaching the 16 million visitor mark underscores the remarkable success of Riyadh Season, which offers a comprehensive experience that includes world-class boxing and wrestling matches, international music concerts, fine dining, stunning gardens, and innovative entertainment activities in completely new zones. The significant increase in attendance was driven by the high turnout during the mid-semester school holiday, providing families and tourists an ideal opportunity to explore the season’s offerings. Riyadh’s pleasant weather further enhanced the experience, especially with the opening of the “Dunes of Arabia” zone, which attracted camping enthusiasts and winter lovers. Similarly, the “Boulevard Runway” zone saw a large number of visitors drawn to its aviation-themed attractions.
