Yesterday, Saturday, December 3, the activities of Riyadh Purebred Arabian Horse Festival, Jawadi, concluded in Riyadh Season 2022, with “Irada Athba” winning gold for one-year-old fillies in Saudi Production Champions Cup, while “Dimashq Al-Sayed” won gold for fillies aged two and three years, and “Tejan Al-Maoud” won gold for mares.
In the same context, “Iyad Al-Khaled” won gold for one-year-old colts, while “Shaman Al-Areeb” won gold for two- and three-year-old colts, and “Fahad Al-Tanhat” won gold for stallions
Eighty horses of local production, which were subject to the laws of the Arabian Horse Organization, participated in the tournament and won prizes totaling about SAR750,000, distributed among the winners of gold, silver and bronze medals.
During its five days, the festival was accompanied by many events that met the desires of all visitors. It also contributed to introducing the purebred Arabian horse and educating visitors about everything related to it by displaying the purebred and hybrid Arabian horses, among others.
Inspired by the authentic Saudi heritage, “Diwaniyat Al-Fursan” provided a traditional atmosphere through sessions of traditional stories about the unification of Saudi Arabia. It also told visitors stories about purebred Arabian horses.
Special events about horses of Saudi origin were held. There were also participatory workshops between specialists, horse breeders and visitors of the festival, in addition to the horse shows, which were held for a full hour daily throughout the days of the festival.
The festival witnessed many entertainment and heritage activities, such as live traditional cooking shows, traditional crafts, folklore performances, live music, and many areas designated for restaurants and shopping.
