Riyadh Season Zones Celebrate Saudi Arabia’s Hosting of the 2034 FIFA World Cup

Today (Wednesday), Riyadh Season joined its visitors in celebrating the announcement by FIFA granting Saudi Arabia the honor of hosting the 2034 FIFA World Cup. The festivities, filled with national pride and joy, took place across all Riyadh Season zones, creating an extraordinary celebratory atmosphere. Major zones, including Boulevard City, Boulevard World, Wonder Garden, and The Groves, welcomed hundreds of thousands of visitors who arrived early to witness this historic moment. The announcement was broadcast live on giant screens across the zones, allowing fans to share the excitement and pride as the FIFA Congress officially declared Saudi Arabia the host nation for the world’s most prestigious football tournament. At Boulevard City, the celebrations featured the distribution of flags, the release of green and white balloons, and the waving of Saudi flags by an enthusiastic crowd. Guests also enjoyed a specially released official song to mark the occasion and received commemorative shirts designed with the event’s branding. Meanwhile, The Groves showcased a unique horseback procession, with riders proudly carrying the Saudi flag, adding a distinctive touch to the patriotic festivities. Traditional Saudi songs and vibrant celebrations filled the air, reflecting the nation’s joy. At exactly 8:34 PM, fireworks lit up the skies above Boulevard City, symbolizing the monumental achievement. This moment stands as a landmark in Saudi Arabia’s sporting history and a source of global pride, further cementing the Kingdom’s position as a leading host of world-class events.
