GEA Begins Receiving Applications for the Second Edition of “Happiness Creators” Initiative

Oct 2, 2023

Today, the General Entertainment Authority (GEA) has started accepting applications for enrollment in the second edition of the Happiness Creators program. The application period will run until October 31, with the initiative’s activities set to commence in early November. This edition builds upon the success of the inaugural program and aims to train and prepare 100,000 participants.
The initiative provides various qualification and training programs, including the Entertainment Fellowship program. Spanning four months, this program aims to train individuals with intermediate experience through a combination of in-person workshops, distance learning, and scholarships. Its focus is on enhancing participants’ skills in the entertainment field by bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application. The program is conducted in collaboration with universities, international companies, and renowned figures from the local and international entertainment industry.
Additionally, the initiative offers the Entertainment Leadership program, designed to develop the skills of company owners and employees holding leadership positions in the entertainment sector. This six-month program comprises workshops, training courses, guidance sessions, and international field visits.
The Happiness Creators initiative also provides Saudi graduates with the opportunity to participate in a qualifying program that culminates in employment within the entertainment sector. Over the course of a year, participants receive training packages delivered by experts from international universities in areas such as entertainment experience design, health and safety management, event operations, and entertainment destination management.
This year, the Happiness Creators initiative offers approximately 120 specialized development courses, covering topics such as crowd management, safety management in entertainment centers, entertainment destination management, and various other courses related to the field of entertainment.
