In the presence of Faisal Bafarat, CEO of the General Entertainment Authority (GEA), and Khalid bin Abdullah Al-Bakr, CEO of the Quality of Life Program Center, GEA organized a closing ceremony in which it honored 30 qualified male and female leaders from the Entertainment Pioneers program, one of the programs of the Happiness Makers initiative, as part of the Quality of Life Program, to achieve Saudi Vision 2030.
The Happiness Makers initiative seeks to qualify 100,000 Saudi young men and women, within multiple tracks and a set of programs dedicated to training talents capable of empowering national cadres, to meet the needs of the entertainment sector and support its industry.
Honoring the first batch of qualifiers in the Entertainment Pioneers program comes after completing many academic and skill programs. The programs, which lasted 6 months, included developing their knowledge by studying many international experiences through field visits, allowing them to learn about global experiences in the entertainment industry.
Through the Entertainment Pioneers program, GEA seeks to create promising economic dimensions and full of opportunities with high returns, which contribute to making Saudi Arabia one of the best countries in the entertainment industry. This can be achieved by strengthening partnerships with the private sector, stimulating support for investment in various entertainment fields, and supporting the entertainment industry with leading cadres to manage and make its programs successful.
The conclusion of the ceremony witnessed the signing of many agreements between a group of national companies in the field of entertainment. The agreements covered many areas, including training, joint campaigns, event management, presentations, and crowd management.
