In celebration of the 93rd Saudi National Day, the Ministry of Interior, in partnership with the General Entertainment Authority (GEA), is organizing the “Ezz Al-Watan 2” event. The celebration introduces visitors to the ministry’s efforts in building its security system, developing its capabilities and services, reviewing national achievements at the security level and sensing their great value, and the Kingdom’s distinction in providing a decent living for all its residents and visitors.
2,000 Military men and women from various security sectors participate in the major event that will start tomorrow, Thursday, until Sunday, September 24, with superior content presented for the first time.
The Ministry adopts the highest standards for organizing events in a partnership renewed every year with GEA. The event includes 32 pavilions and 26 corners that depend on interacting with the audience and making them feel a unique experience. The event includes prominent projects that reflect developments in the Kingdom that translate the slogan “We Dream and We Achieve.”
The event also includes special pavilions for children that promote national loyalty and cultural and social awareness. On the other side, Al-SALAYIL Square brings together joint security forces from all sectors of the Ministry of Interior in military and musical performances that highlight the human capabilities and creative sense of the Ministry’s employees.
Live events, visual dazzling displays with coordinated weapons, artistic performances, and military infantry performances to the beat of orchestral music are also presented in coordination with the security sectors, in addition to an introductory exhibition about the ministry’s sectors and services.
The ministry’s live activities include Military Music, Image of Pride, Homeland in Words, Sound of Weapons, Dome of History, The Homeland in Paintings, and Soldier of the Future. It also includes Live the Experience, Power Show, Huadi Restaurant, and Food Garden.
In special pavilions, various sectors of the Ministry of Interior offer activities that combine fun and information and suit all age groups. The National Center for Security Operations provides introductory videos, an interactive screen for children, and a live television monitoring screen of vital places. The Facilities Security Forces display some of the sector’s weapons and equipment and an introductory overview of them.
The Special Forces for Environmental Security introduce their basic activities and tasks and define the types of environmental violations. The Narcotics Control sector spreads awareness among visitors about the dangers of drugs and contributes to raising the level of security awareness among citizens and residents. Al-Afwaj Regiment reviews some of their weapons and the methods of arresting smugglers.
The General Directorate of Border Guards, Absher, Civil Affairs, the General Administration of International Police, the General Directorate of Prisons, and the General Administration of Mujahideen also provide educational and awareness-raising activities.
