Riyadh Purebred Arabian Horse Festival, Jawadi, has allowed Riyadh Season 2022 visitors to get acquainted with the breeds of thoroughbred and crossbred horses, a breed that arose through the interbreeding of Arabian and English horses to produce horses that combine the strength, daring, and speed of Arabian horses, distinguished by their performance in international races. The festival, which started on Tuesday, November 29, dedicated part of its seminars and activities to thoroughbred horses, where a group of specialists in Arabian horses and the breeds resulting from their crossbreeding with other horses from around the world talk to visitors. The festival also includes workshops specialized in methods of breeding horses, feeding them, and how to choose the best ones. The festival includes various shows for purebred Arabian horses and an area dedicated to horses of Saudi origin. It also allows its visitors to enjoy folklore performances and seminars for those interested in horses, in addition to the Little Knight stable, live traditional cooking shows, restaurants, and music tracks accompanying the events throughout the festival. Jawadi is characterized by containing handicrafts associated with horses. It also includes the Diwaniyat al-Fursan and many cafes where visitors and participants meet during the festival, which includes competitions and prizes totaling more than SAR1 million.
