A press conference was organized today to announce the staging of “Aotl Fani” (technical failure) on Abu Baker Al-Sheddi Stage in Riyadh Boulevard from Wednesday (January 8) to Sunday (January 12, 2020).
The press conference was attended by Ahmad Al-Mehmadi, Chief Communications Officer at the General Entertainment Authority; Amir Teima, the producer and writer of the play; along with the play stars including the artists Akram Hosny, Chico, Hesham Maged, Ayten Amer, Nashwa Mustafa, Ismail Farghaly, and Otaka, the play director.
The comic play is about three people with different ambitions that they try to achieve. They go to an innovator to try to fulfil their wishes. The play events happen in three different places in which the main characters encounter multiple funny obstacles that they try to overcome.
The play features paintings with lyrics written on them by the playwright Amir Teima joined by Ahmad Shaker, music by Ahmed Waheed, and song by Imad Kamel.
It is noteworthy that the Saudi capital hosted over the past months many successful theatrical shows provided by Saudi, Gulf and Arab stars such as the artists Nasser Al-Qasabi whose play “Altheeb Fe Algleeb” is currently presented on the Blue Hall theater at Princess Noura University; Yehia El-Fakharani in “King Lear” play; Mohamed Henedy in the “Talat Ayam Fe el Sahel” (Three Days in North Coast) play; Ahmed Ezz in the “Aladdin” play; Tariq Al-Ali; Hasan Al-Ballam; Fayez Al-Malki and many more.
