On the night of its anniversary, Boulevard Riyadh City glowed with candles that spread throughout the zone and on its fountain water, which became a mirror reflecting aesthetics and luminous colors in a creative way that shows the importance of the event and the zone’s position as a distinct entertainment destination for the Kingdom’s residents and visitors.
The spread of candles in Boulevard Riyadh City coincided with playing Riyadh Season’s tune “Imagine” for the audience to hear, amid a festive atmosphere doubled by the winter breezes that began to infiltrate the zone at the beginning of November.
Boulevard Riyadh City witnessed many surprises on this occasion, as it offered a 50% discount on restaurants overlooking the fountain. The discounts included 13 restaurants, in addition to entry tickets whose value was reduced to SAR12.
Boulevard Riyadh City zone was built in 118 working days and is considered the largest sustainable entertainment destination in the Kingdom, with an area of about 900,000 square meters. The zone received more than 11 million visitors from different countries of the world during 365 days, and the internal spending amounted to more than SAR4 billion. It includes more than 70 restaurants, 41 cafes, 81 stores, more than 54 theater shows, more than 80 international and Arab musical events, and more than 22 studios, the largest in the Middle East, in Merwas, which was recently opened.
