Today (Tuesday), it was announced that the Arab National Bank (ANB) has acquired the naming rights for “The Venue,” which will now be called “anb Arena” for a one-year period.
The naming rights agreement was signed by Dr. Rakan Al-Harthi, Managing Director of Sela, and Mr. Obaid Al-Rasheed, CEO and Managing Director of ANB.
“The Venue” has previously hosted several high-profile events, including the Riyadh Season Tennis Cup, featuring six of the world’s top tennis players, and the iconic fashion showcase by international designer Elie Saab, which was complemented by a dazzling performance by global singing sensation Celine Dion in a long-awaited appearance.
Another notable event was the “Latin Night,” where Mexican champion Gilberto “Zurdo” Ramirez unified the WBO and WBA light heavyweight titles after defeating British contender Chris Billam-Smith.
In January, “anb Arena” will host the Joy Awards, bringing together hundreds of stars from the worlds of cinema, sports, and entertainment in a first-of-its-kind annual event in the Middle East.
