The Riyadh Homecoming festival refines children’s engineering skills through an architectural corner that receives 1,000 visitors a day in the professions experience zone in which young people engage in 6 simple architectural activities.
The architectural corner explores areas of interest for children in the professions experience zone, which enables them to practice their passion and discover their hobbies in 5 areas, including fashion, architecture, cooking, medicine and media.
The corner seeks to develop children’s skills by teaching them architecture easily and simply. It targets the age group of eight years and above to provide them with the basics of architecture, the methods of practicing it and its role in building residential complexes and cities.
The main interactive activities for children include drawing architectural plans, building models using foam, building architectural structures, drawing maps and technological designs through iPads and the PR device that enables children to build cities, and making models that help in choosing the appropriate furniture for homes after installing a fully-serviced residential area.
The Riyadh Homecoming festival consists of 6 experiences, 3 zones, 2 theaters and a range of fun activities and experiences that combine knowledge and entertainment suitable for all ages.
The festival is distinguished by offering various family interests, through its various programs that contribute to enabling children to choose their future professions in the professions and jobs building, in addition to a number of various shows and a wide range of local and international creativity and entertainment stations.
