Riyadh is gearing up to host the first UFC event in Saudi Arabia, scheduled for next Saturday at “Kingdom Arena” in the capital city. MMA fans will be treated to a prominent event featuring 11 exciting fights, including a main event between the third-ranked Australian Robert Whittaker and the Russian Ikram Aliskerov, who is coming off a major victory over Brazilian Warlley Alves by first-round TKO in the middleweight division.
In addition to the main event, the event will feature a thrilling bout between Russians Sergei Pavlovich and Alexander Volkov in the heavyweight division, adding more excitement and anticipation for the audience. American Kelvin Gastelum will face his compatriot Daniel Rodriguez in a welterweight bout, while Johnny Walker from Brazil will enter the Octagon to take on Switzerland’s Volkan Oezdemir in the light heavyweight division. Meanwhile, Tajikistan’s Muhammad Naimov will go up against Brazilian Felipe Lima in the featherweight division.
Also participating in this event is Russian fighter Shara Magomedov, who aims to maintain his undefeated record in the UFC. He will face Joelton Lutterbach from Germany in a middleweight bout.
In another bout, Nasrat Haqparast from Morocco will take on Jared Gordon from the United States in the lightweight division. Additionally, Russia’s Rinat Fakhretdinov will compete against Denmark’s Nicolas Dalby in the welterweight division.
In the bantamweight division, Kyung ho Kang from South Korea aims to return to the win column when he faces Muin Gafurov from Tajikistan. Additionally, the event will feature a bantamweight bout between Xiao Long from China and Chang Ho Lee from South Korea.
In the fights, undefeated Mohammed Gadzhiasulov from Bahrain will face Brazil’s Brendson Ribeiro, nicknamed “The Gorilla,” in the light heavyweight division.
