As part of the musical activities of Riyadh Season 2022, Mohammed Abdo Theater in Boulevard Riyadh City brought together top Arab stars who shone in the sky of Riyadh in the largest musical trio, which entertained the audience on a night beyond imagination, in the largest concert of its kind.
A group of male and female star singers participated in “Trio Night,” including Angham, Assala Nasri, Najwa Karam, Nawal Al Zoghbi, Latifa Al-Tunisia, Nancy Ajram, Elissa, Walid Tawfiq, Assi Al-Hillani, Saber Al-Rubai, Wael Kfoury, and Bahaa Sultan.
The surprise of the star George Wassouf’s participation increased the elegance of “Trio Night.” He was received with a storm of applause. Wassouf’s participation was an inspiration for the stars and formed a distinguished and unforgettable conclusion of the night. He presented with other stars some immortal works, including songs by Abdel Halim Hafez. Walid Tawfiq presented a patriotic song to the Saudi public, represented by the song “Saudi Arabia, My Love.”
“Trio Night” documented performances that brought together Arab stars years ago. The scene was repeated in Riyadh Season in a modern way, amid the touches of three musical maestros: Amir Abdel Majeed, Medhat Khamis, and Hani Farhat, who led the orchestra with creativity and distinction.
The night also witnessed a touch of loyalty to the late musician Tariq Akef, who excelled in presenting musical works of Arab stars. His works were presented in a trio manner, while the audience interacted with his image that was brought to the stage while his musical works were played.
During the concert, reports were presented about the star singers to shed light on their top works in their artistic careers, which contributed to the development of the Arab song.
Riyadh Season 2022 features 15 diverse entertainment zones and presents many Saudi and Arab plays, concerts, local and international exhibitions in the fields of anime, perfumes, games, and various activities for families, individuals and children.
