Visitors to Riyadh Zoo, one of the 15 entertainment zones of Riyadh Season 2022, interacted with the region’s various activities and exceptional experiences, especially the Climbing Wall activity, which allowed them to enjoy the challenge of climbing and reaching the summit.
The Climbing Wall activity gave visitors an atmosphere of joy and energy and contributed to increasing the demand for the zone. The event attracted the attention of visitors from the moment they entered to take on the challenge of reaching the top of the wall, which is eight meters high and has a capacity of 150-200 visitors each 8 hours.
The activity offered climbing enthusiasts a set of safety elements, as it provides them with a belt and helmet for climbing, and warns against climbing on both sides to avoid falling, in addition to advising visitors to dispose of personal items such as mobile phones.
Riyadh Zoo hosts many unique events. The zoo, which was established in 1987, has returned in a new form in the Riyadh Season 2022. It includes more than 1,300 animals from 190 species in 6 protected areas. It offers a wide range of activities, such as the turtle house, interaction with the giraffe, the experience of the lions, walking through the glass tunnel between the tigers, interaction with the white tiger, tug of war with the lions, the bongo house experience, going through the dark rooms of owls, and the VR experience.
