Young boys and girls competed in the professions zone of the Riyadh Homecoming festival, trying to get the largest number of visitors’ approvals of their local and international dishes, under the supervision of culinary experts.
The festival, which is the first of its kind in the Kingdom, includes various challenges between male and female competitors in preparing various food options from many cultures. At the same time, it provided an opportunity for parents to explore their children’s areas of interest. The festival enabled participants to compete in five fields: fashion, architecture, cooking, medicine, and media.
The professions zone in the festival aims to develop children’s skills through professional trips that give them a set of experiences accompanied by specialized trainers. The zone’s capacity is between 100-150 people, and it targets children 6-13 years old.
The Riyadh Homecoming festival includes many fun activities, events and experiences that combine knowledge and entertainment that suit different age groups and cover the various interests of visitors, such as the circus at the Mohammed Al-Ali Theater and the performances of the artist Rasha Rizk.
