Riyadh Season 2022 moved visitors from the midst of modern life to the patterns of ancient traditions in the corners of Souq Al-Marbaniyeh, which is held in Qariat Zaman, one of the entertainment zones of Riyadh Season. It coincides with the 40 coldest days of the winter season in the Kingdom, locally called Al-Marbaniyeh. Souq Al-Marbaniyeh reflects a distinctive image of simplicity, heritage and shopping culture in the past.
Shops in the souq showcase a wide variety of costumes with various materials in leather, fur, velvet and cotton. It also offers gold, silver and colored jewelry, gowns, bags, shoes, prayer beads, oud, incense and perfumes, in addition to traditional products. Goods are offered at competitive prices.
Visitors to Souq Al-Marbaniyeh in Qariat Zaman recall traditional markets, with their ancient architectural character, and the culture of shopping in the good old days at entertainment sites that used to offer entertaining activities.
