As part of the Saudi National Day 93 celebrations, the skies of Riyadh witnessed an innovative military air show entitled “We Race Dreams,” amid great interaction from the public who gathered to watch the celebration of the event this afternoon. The event painted an image of glory and reflected pride in the Kingdom’s present and the achievements it has achieved to build its prosperous future with visionary leadership.
The activities began with a military parade in which the Royal Guard Command, the Ministry of National Guard, and the General Directorate of Border Guards participated, including a horse march and a musical performance presented by the Honor Guard. After that, a helicopter carrying the Saudi flag flew over, announcing the beginning of the air show.
12 Apache and Black Hawk helicopters belonging to the National Guard Command participated in the air show, after which the Saudi Falcons team, distinguished by its festive displays, presented a number of formations and displays.
After that, warplanes accompanied by two Saudi Arabian Airlines Boeing 787, whose colors were dyed with the company’s old identity, and a Flynas Airbus 320 aircraft.
The Royal Saudi Air Force participated in the parade with Typhoon, F-15S, Tornado, and F-15C aircraft. On the coasts of the Red Sea and the Arabian Gulf, the Royal Saudi Navy participated in naval displays in the Eastern and Western Fleets.
The air shows continue in the skies of the Kingdom in a number of different locations until they conclude in the skies of Al-Jawf on October 2.
The “We Race Dreams” show was organized by the General Entertainment Authority, with the participation of several government agencies, including the Royal Guard Command, the Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of National Guard, the Presidency of State Security, the General Authority of Civil Aviation, Matarat Holding Company, the Saudi Air Navigation Services Company, the Saudi Aviation Club, Saudia Airlines, and Flynas. The Saudi Broadcasting Authority broadcasted the main show on National Day live on Al Saudiya Channel.
