Saudi Arabia, June 15, 2023Tomorrow evening, Friday, Jeddah will host a concert titled “Meshwary Night” for the Egyptian singing star Mohammed Mounir, organized by the General Entertainment Authority, as part of his 50-year-long artistic career during which he presented distinctive musical works that have enabled him to gain a wide popular following in the artistic arena.
As part of the activities of Jeddah Calendar, the Benchmark Theater is hosting the grand musical event tonight for the star Mohammed Mounir, accompanied by a musical orchestra led by Maestro Hani Farhat.
“Meshwary Night” represents one of the great popular concerts on the west coast, as it features a band of world-class musicians who have already performed exceptional rehearsals, including the Karaoke band, the star Ahmed Saad, as well as the world-renowned musician Victor Espinola and the musician Sayaka Katsuki, all ready to entertain the theater’s audience.

Mohammed Mounir began his rich singing career in the 1970s with a diverse artistic repertoire characterized by innovation in both music and lyrics. He is one of the icons of art and music, given his artistic milestones and singing experiences, as well as his lively musical spirit that blends constantly with contemporary music.
Mohammed Mounir is associated with a diverse range of musical and artistic works and memorable experiences that have formed a unique musical blend combining Nubian, Western and Eastern music. His works stand out for their diversity, which distinguishes them from other musical trends that emerged in the 1980s, 1990s, and the 21st century, making him very popular among young people. In addition to his contributions to the music scene, Mounir also devoted himself to acting, participating in cinema. He played his first role with the director Youssef Chahine in the film “Haddouta Masreya” in 1982, and his participation in films exceeded more than ten dramatic works.
Between the years 2000 and 2009, Mounir released 8 albums, then he halted the release of new albums for 4 years, before launching his album “Ya Ahl El Arab W El Tarab” in 2012. In 2018, he released an album titled “El Roh Lil Roh Btehenn”, and in 2020 he released an album titled “Bab El Gamal”, bringing the total number of his albums to more than 20, which he has produced over four decades of continuous artistic work.
