The “Made in Saudi Arabia” exhibition, which concluded yesterday in front of Riyadh, one of the regions of the Riyadh season, represented a mine for Saudi patents, as it included dozens of national inventions in the fields of: medicine, perfumes, logistics, and various digital technologies.
Many of the factories participating in the exhibition were distinguished by obtaining exclusive protection documents for their inventions, which have a protection period of up to 20 years against exploitation by others, and to prevent their commercial manufacture for any other party without the approval of the factories that have the lead in invention.
The exhibition included a number of factories and commercial companies, which contributed to transforming a group of Saudi innovations and inventions into commercial and pioneering projects, and promising digital opportunities that help promote the economic growth of the Kingdom and its diverse industries.
The inventions that the exhibition featured during its four days were characterized by new innovative ideas, which contributed to enriching the Saudi industrial market, by applying them on the ground, and displaying them as products for sale in the “Made in Saudi Arabia” exhibition, among thousands of high-quality products.
The companies inside the exhibition succeeded in transforming Saudi patents into productive projects that serve the country and inventors at the same time. internally and externally.
The patents included in the exhibition varied among its aspects, and included: manufacturing, supply chains, energy services, chemicals, solar energy, industrial goods, information technology, health care, and education, with the aim of promoting economic and industrial diversity within the Kingdom, and expanding national exports abroad.
The Saudi companies in the exhibition, through the patents they incubated, made a great leap in supporting the national economy in the Kingdom, by translating those patents into actual innovations, in line with the Kingdom’s vision 2030 to establish a sustainable Saudi economy.
