Joy Awards 2025 Announces Nominees Following Millions of Votes in the Nominations Phase

The Joy Awards 2025 nominees have been revealed, with the awards set to be presented during a grand ceremony on January 18 at anb Arena as part of Riyadh Season. Voting has officially commenced, running for a full month through the official app, following a nominations phase that attracted millions of participants.
The awards feature a range of categories, including cinema, television, music, sports, influencers, and directing, recognizing the standout works and individuals of the year.
In the cinema category, films such as “From the Ashes” “Rehla 404” “Shabab Al Bomb,” and “Welad Rizk 3: El Qadia” are vying for Best Film. For Best Actress in a Film, nominees include Khairiah Abulaban (“From the Ashes”), Nour AlGhandour (“Honeymoonish”), Hannah El Zahed (“Fasel Men El Lahazat El Lazeeza”), and Yasmine Sabri (“Abo Nasab”). Competing for Best Actor in a Film are Ahmed Ezz (“Welad Rizk 3: El Qadia”), Sohayb Godus (“Ahlam Al Asr”), Faisal Al Essa (“Shabab Al Bomb”), and Hesham Maged (“Ex Merati”).
In the television category, leading Gulf series like “Thanawiyyat Al Naseem” “Zawja Waheda La Takfi” “Shabab El Bomb 12,” and “Mathaf Yeddi” are competing for Best Gulf Series. Egyptian productions “Al Atawla” “Ashghal Shaqa” “Kamel El Addad +1” and “Nema El Avoccato” are up for Best Egyptian Series. Meanwhile, Best Levant Series nominees include “Alameel” “Lo’bat Hob” “AlRawabi School for Girls: Season 2,” and “Wlad Badee’a”.
For Best Actress in a Series, nominees include Elham Ali (“Sondos 2”), Sulafa Mimar (“Welad Badee’a”), Nour Ali (“Lo’bat Hob”), and Huda Hussein (“Zawja Waheda La Takfi”). On the other hand, Best Actor in a Series features Ayman Zidan and Samer Ismail (“Al Ameel”), Abdulaziz Alshehri (“Forsan Graih”), and Moatasem Al Nahar (“Lo’bat Hob”). Rising stars competing for Best Newcomer include Al-Anoud Abdulhakim (“Beyt Al Ankaboot”), Rasel Al-Otaibi and Mohammed Al-Harbi (“Sondos 2”), and Nayef Albahar (“Thanawiyyat Al Naseem”).
In directing, nominees for Best TV Series Director are Ahmed Khaled Mousa (“Al Atawla”), Rasha Sharbatji (“Wlad Badee’a”), Ali Al-Ali (“Zawja Waheda La Takfi”), and Mohammed Sami (“Nema El Avoccato”). Best Film Director nominees include Tarek Al-Eryan (“Welad Rizq 3: Elqadia”), Ali Al-Kalthami (“Night Courier”), Fatima Al-Banawi (“Basma”), and Moataz Al-Touni (“Ex Merati”).
In music, songs such as “Lammah” by Ayed, “El Jaw” by Majid Al-Mohandes, “Haygely Mawgow3” by Tamer Ashour, and “Wein” by Al-Shami are competing for Best Song. Best Male Artist nominees are Al-Shami, Tamer Ashour, Silawi, and Ayed. For Best Female Artist, nominees include Elissa, Assala, Angham, and Sherine Abdelwahab. Best New Artist nominees include TUL8TE, Khaled AlSarraf, Rakan AlSa’ed, and Wijdane Said.
In sports, nominees for Best Male Athlete are Salem Al Dawsari, Yassine Bounou, Ayman Hussein, and Houssem Aouar, while Best Female Athlete nominees include Dunya Aboutaleb, Samaher Kurdi, Hattan Alsaif, and Hana Goda.
Finally, in the influencer category, nominees for Best Male Influencer include Abo Flah (Hassan Suleiman), Osama Marwah, SHoNGXbOnG (Ahmad Al Qahtani), and Naif Hamdan. Best Female Influencer nominees are Sara Al wari, Douha Laribi, Kadi AlJuraisi, and Narin Amara (Narin’s Beauty).
The Joy Awards are among the most prominent entertainment awards in the Arab world, celebrating creativity and excellence across various artistic and media fields.
