The Professional Development Program for Attractions Managers, presented by the Institute for Attractions Managers (IAM), affiliated with International
Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA), was launched yesterday, as part of the activities of the IAAPA Middle East Trade Summit held in the Saudi capital Riyadh in partnership between the General Entertainment Authority (GEA) and IAAPA. The summit lasts for three days.
The program includes training courses offered by international experts from 5 countries, targeting decision-makers and executives in companies and agencies working in the entertainment sector in the Kingdom. Participants will get accredited certificates from IAAPA. The program also covers several practical themes of interest to specialists in entertainment activities, who exceeded 30 experts from 6 different countries.
The training program includes 5 training units related to the entertainment sector. The schedule of training courses on the first day of the program included a training course to introduce Fun World Park, and another on the management and safety of entertainment facilities, in addition to a course about financial management.
On the second day of the program, the schedule will include training courses on marketing and public relations, another on the management of revenue operations in entertainment destinations, as well as a course on human resources and leadership. On the third and final day, the schedule of the program includes workshops and presentations offered by the Fun World team.
The IAAPA Middle East Trade Summit is the first of its kind, in partnership with IAAPA, in the Middle East. It provides opportunities to learn from entertainment makers and benefit from their experiences. It also aims to explore the most prominent global developments and innovations in the entertainment industry.
