His Excellency the chairman of the General Entertainment Authority’s board of directors Mr. Turki bin Abdul Mohsen Al-Sheikh welcomed in his office at the GEA headquarters today (Monday) the U.S. Embassy’s Chargé D’Affaires to the Kingdom Mrs. Martina Strong.
At the outset of the meeting, H.E. warmly welcomed the U.S. delegation, emphasizing the strength of the relationship between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United States of America across all fields. H.E. highlighted the robust, longstanding economic ties between the two countries, the amount of sizable U.S. investments in the Kingdom, and their vital contribution to development and growth through the entertainment sector.
The meeting featured a discussion of potential ways for further collaboration in the entertainment sector. On his part, H.E. the GEA chairman pointed out the weight of the entertainment sector in the Kingdom and its role in attracting investments and achieving economic growth, as he encouraged U.S. companies operating in the sector to invest and collaborate with their counterparts in the Kingdom to enrich and support the entertainment content.
In this respect, Mrs. Strong commended the significance and firmness of the bilateral relationships bringing both countries together for the advancement of the various fields in what ensures their mutual benefit, as well as the importance of the entertainment sector and the promising investment opportunities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
