In celebration of Saudi National Day 93 on September 23, the Kingdom’s skies will shine with drone displays and fireworks that will add a distinctive glow to the celebrations that spread throughout the Kingdom, especially in entertainment areas, parks and public squares.
On this occasion, the General Entertainment Authority (GEA) organizes fireworks displays in more than 15 different locations. The viewing areas are distributed between Boulevard Riyadh City in Riyadh, the Promenade in Jeddah, King Abdullah Park in Dammam, the Northern Khobar Corniche, King Abdullah Environmental Park in Al-Ahsa, and King Abdullah National Park in Buraidah.
Fireworks displays can also be watched at 9 p.m. in Abha from Al-Sadd Park in Al-Fan Street, in Madinah from King Fahd Central Park, in Hail from Al-Salam Park, in Tabuk from Al-Nazim Central Park, in Al-Baha from Prince Hossam Park, in Sakaka from Amana Park, in Jazan from the Corniche Road walkway, in Najran from the University District Housing Park, in Taif near King Abdullah Park, and in Arar from the Water Tower.
In addition to fireworks displays, drone shows will be held in the skies of Riyadh near the Boulevard Riyadh City on September 23 at 9 p.m. Drones will form images in the sky, topped by a picture of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and a picture of the Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and the Kingdom’s flag. The Saudi Broadcasting Corporation will broadcast these shows live on Al Saudiya TV Channel.
National Day activities include 5 concerts. On September 22, a concert by Artist of the Arabs Mohammed Abdu will be held at the Jeddah Super Dome Theater, and in Riyadh, the Series Songs concert, led by Maestro Khaled Nouri, will be held at Abu Bakr Salem Theater in Boulevard Riyadh City. On September 23, Majid Al-Muhandis’ concert will be held at the Fairgrounds Theater in Dhahran, and the The Band Plays and the Audience Sings concert, led by Maestro Mustafa Helmy, will be at Princess Noura University in Riyadh. On September 24, Rabeh Saqr’s concert will be held at Prince Sultan Cultural Center Theater in Tabuk.
