The General Entertainment Authority signed a memorandum of understanding with the Social Development Bank to provide various financing solutions for quality investment projects, thus contributing to the growth and sustainability of the entertainment sector in the Kingdom.
SERVICES WE OFFER
Financing Services for Entertainment Projects
Providing financing services for recreational activities and projects.
- Excellence Projects:
A product specialized in financing micro-enterprises with an investment cost ranging between 500,000 riyals and 8 million riyals. The financing amount ranges between 500,000 and 4 million riyals and the product targets projects under development. - Ufuq:
a product dedicated for financing small enterprises that have been operational for at least 3 years, and that have annual sales starting from 3 million riyals to a maximum of 40 million riyals. The product offers a financing amount up to 10 million riyals.
How to be eligible for Excellence Project financing
General terms for benefiting from the product:
- Being a Saudi national
- Being older than 25 and younger than 65 years old
- Being fully committed to operating the project or assigning an experienced and competent Saudi project manager
- Qualifications: Having at least a high school degree
- Experience: Having at least one year of experience
- Having a credit score that allows him/her to obtain financing
- Project should be new or under development or has been operational for a maximum of 3 years
- Financing amount shall not exceed 4 million riyals, and the investment cost should not exceed 8 million riyals
- Providing payment guarantees equivalent to at least 50% of the financing value and the amount required from the bank
- The investor’s contribution should amount to at least 8% of the investment value
- Paying the service fee
- Successfully passing the personal interview
Required documents:
- A copy of the national ID and a CV
- Academic qualifications and experience
- Economic Feasibility study
- A minimum of two price proposals for the project’s machinery and equipment requirements, including technical specifications
- A minimum of two price proposals for constructions, civil works and designs, with bills of quantities
- A minimum of two price proposals for cars, safety equipment and raw materials according to the project’s activity
- A copy of the initial licenses for setting up the project, and a commercial register, if any
- A price proposal for the land lease or the title deed (if available) including the necessary details (plot number, area…)
- A chart showing the production sequence or stages for industrial projects, or a clear illustration of the proposed internal distribution of facilities for other projects
- Partnership contract between the client and GEA

How to be eligible for Ufuq financing
General terms for benefiting from the product:
- Being a Saudi national
- Being a small enterprise or start-up with revenues ranging between 3 million and 40 million riyals
- Having an audited budget for the last three years
- Having a credit score that allows him/her to obtain financing
- Having been operational for at least 3 years
- Financing shall not exceed 10,000,000 (ten million) riyals.
- Paying the service fee
Required documents:
- An official letter signed by the person authorized to request the financing, including the loan value, its purpose, the repayment period and the method of payment
- A valid Commercial Register
- Memorandum of Association (and the latest appendix in case of modification), as well as the partners’ resolution, the board’s resolution, and the signatory authorization if it is a company
- A copy of the owner’s ID if it is an organization or the partners if it is a company
- Saudization Certificate (Nitaqat)
- Social Security certificate including the facility’s data and the number of Saudi and non-Saudi contributors (males and females).
- National address
- Partnership contract between the applicant and GEA
- A comprehensive 5-year plan for the enterprise
- Audited budget for the last 3 years
