The General Entertainment Authority (GEA) launched the Entertainment Fellowship Program as part of the Happiness Creators Initiative. This program offers a blend of theoretical and practical education and is being conducted in collaboration with top universities, renowned international companies, and prominent leaders of the entertainment industry at both local and global levels.
The program has three tracks, including operation, health and safety at events, designing entertainment experiences, and managing entertainment destinations. In this version, the program accommodates 42 male and female trainees over a period of up to 5 months, including 3 weeks for external scholarship, which involves both in-person study and distance education. In addition to local training, there will also be opportunities for international visits and practical applications. The program covers the costs of international scholarships and provides transportation to and from the training destination for the entire duration of the scholarship.
GEA organizes a special ceremony to celebrate the completion of the Entertainment Fellowship Program and the graduation of the trainees who have acquired experiences at prominent international universities and companies in the field of entertainment. The ceremony includes visual presentations that tell the story of the program since its launch, in addition to full details of the scholarship students’ journey. At the conclusion of the ceremony, graduates are honored and presented with GEA fellowship certificates.
