The electronic training platform programs, which are part of the Happiness Creators initiative, one of the General Entertainment Authority’s initiatives, have achieved great success in the first edition, which started in October 2021.
The platform programs have succeeded in providing around 100 thousand training opportunities for young men and women in the Kingdom through 29 diverse courses that were presented according to the highest levels of training and performance. All course participants were awarded accredited attendance certificates.
The training courses covered 5 areas, which are: organizing conferences and events, marketing and promoting events, customer care, welcoming and sales in stores, and welcoming and organizational procedures (protocol) for events.
The selection of these areas was carefully made according to the needs of the entertainment job market, while applying the highest global quality standards used in education and training, as part of the General Entertainment Authority’s strategy that focuses on developing and qualifying local talents.
The General Entertainment Authority launched the electronic training platform in October 2021 in collaboration with the Paris World Academy, and through the Saudi Entertainment Academy (SEA).
The platform aims to target more than 100,000 Saudi male and female youth with global standards aimed at developing their capabilities to be an integral part of this promising field, through accredited programs that qualify them with theoretical, practical and personal skills.
The launch of the platform comes as part of the General Entertainment Authority’s efforts to enhance the sustainability of the entertainment sector industry in Saudi Arabia, through specialized national talents in organizing and managing events and entertainment activities in all their important specialties.
It is worth mentioning that the General Entertainment Authority is working to launch the updated version of the electronic training platform at the end of 2023.
