The General Entertainment Authority (GEA) has achieved a new milestone by obtaining the Accreditation certificate from the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM).
This achievement came as a result of GEA’s implementation of improvement projects that meet the requirements of the EFQM model, following a visit by an accredited assessor from EFQM to assess the GEA’s operations and improvement projects based on the EFQM 2020 model standards.
This model is one of the most prominent global models for institutional excellence, which enables organizations to assess their institutional maturity level and contribute to improving and developing performance for organizations. This model is one of the most targeted models by government entities in the field of institutional excellence.
EFQM is a prestigious global non-profit organization that focuses on evaluating institutional excellence for government entities, private sector, and non-profit organizations. It is the global reference for evaluating institutional excellence.
GEA intends to continue its journey towards excellence by adopting and implementing the most prominent concepts and standards of local and global institutional excellence, which in turn will reflect on raising its maturity and service quality.
