Last night (Saturday), the activities of “Al-Suwaidi Park,” one of the most popular zones in Riyadh Season for its cultural diversity and large audience turnout, ended.
Over 49 days, the park hosted a series of themed weeks showcasing the heritage and culture of various countries, offering an exceptional experience for visitors eager to explore global traditions.
The festivities began with India on October 13, followed by the Philippines, Indonesia, Pakistan, Yemen, Sudan, the Levant, Bangladesh, and concluded with Egypt. Each week highlighted unique cultural activities representing the essence of each nation.
Organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Media as part of the “Global Harmony” initiative, the event featured a range of activities, including traditional cuisine, live music performances by renowned artists, parades showcasing traditional attire and music, handicrafts, and children’s games.
The events introduced Riyadh Season visitors to the rich heritage and diverse cultures of the participating nations. The exceptional organization and quality of performances captivated attendees who flocked to enjoy the vibrant atmosphere.
Visitors praised the park for its celebratory ambiance, cultural richness, and the unforgettable experiences it provided. The success of the event is expected to position “Al-Suwaidi Park” as a key attraction for future Riyadh Season editions.
