The car auction, which was held yesterday in the Imagination Park zone, dazzled visitors with the showcase of the modern car icon, the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport, which features a 16-cylinder engine, whose price reached SAR18 million ($4,800,000).
During the first day of the auction, car enthusiasts lived times filled with excitement by seeing many rare and classic cars, of which more than 200 cars were sold through the auction. The cars included Mercedes SL 560, which sold for SAR180,000 ($48,000), SS300, which sold for SAR360,000 ($96,000), and Rolls-Royce Phantom, which won the title of the best car in the world since its first launch in 1925, and was the first choice for lovers of excellence, as it was sold for SAR1.7 million ($453,000).
The auction also witnessed the sale of the Lamborghini Aventador “Roadster” edition, one of the most beautiful sports cars with its bold design. It was sold in the auction at a price of SAR1,350,000 ($365,000), while the price of the Ferrari Dino reached SAR1,200,000 ($320,000).
Among the cars that were sold in the auction, which witnessed a large turnout of visitors from inside and outside the Kingdom, were two cars: Peterbilt 359 and McLaren P1 XP. Riyadh Car Show is the largest in the Middle East, with its rare and luxurious cars that meet all tastes, with the participation of major international car companies.
The cars are distributed inside the exhibition in three halls: “Auto World”, “Super Fast” and “Luxury”, in addition to a path that goes through the entire exhibition and is decorated with the rarest and most luxurious cars, such as the Bugatti Centodieci, of which only 10 cars were produced. The footballer Cristiano Ronaldo owns one of them.
