Since its launch in May, Kingdom Tour 2023 has been presenting its diverse artistic activities. The tour has traveled between the regions of the kingdom and presented concerts and theatrical shows that combined colors of joy and entertainment and contributed significantly to providing multiple options of events since the start of the summer vacation, in addition to many events that will take place during the upcoming period until the end of September.
The tour, which is the first of its kind in the Kingdom, includes a number of concerts by major Saudi artists, most notably Mohammed Abdu, dubbed ‘The Artist of the Arabs,’ Khaled Abdul Rahman, Rabeh Saqr, Aseel Abu Bakr, in addition to Ayedh and Shamma Hamdan.
The tour offers residents and visitors of the kingdom a number of entertainment options through its distinctive theatrical shows that showcase new performing arts to embody unique comedy scenes and provide the audience with a special experience that makes them live exceptional atmospheres in the kingdom’s theaters, which host a variety of theatrical works, including the popular plays “Thaat Al-Laykat”, “Hadi Valentine”, “Al-Tayara”, ” Qabel Lilnasher”, “Mimo”, and ” Ala Wad’i Al-Tayaran.”
The plays bring together the best stage stars in the Arab world, including Ahmed Helmy, Ibrahim Hajjaj, Ahmed Al-Aounan, Amira Mohamed, Chico, Shaima Seif, and a number of Gulf and Arab comedy stars.
Kingdom Tour 2023 is the largest entertainment tour the kingdom has witnessed. It is organized by the General Entertainment Authority (GEA) in a strategic partnership with the Quality-of-Life Program. Many Saudi companies, with hundreds of Saudis, participate in various stages of entertainment events, before and during the shows, and provide support services such as organizing and presenting creative shows and logistical services.
The tour has succeeded in creating exceptional entertainment events for the residents and visitors of the kingdom. It is one of the GEA’s initiatives, which form part of its sustainable entertainment system and its vision to anticipate the future and contribute to improving the quality of life through its efforts in investing its potential in a way that maximizes the benefits from modern initiatives and programs, in addition to existing assets.
The tour stands out for providing multiple opportunities for the private sector in the regions and cities it targets, contributing to maximizing the economic benefit and achieving the social impact of the entertainment movement that cities and event regions are experiencing.
Kingdom Tour 2023, which was mainly led by young Saudi men and women, witnessed great efforts in creating joy by organizing a series of events that provide them with experience and knowledge, and increase their contribution to the entertainment sector, which is one of the most promising sectors in the kingdom.
Participating in the organization of Kingdom Tour 2023, alongside the General Entertainment Authority, are the Music Commission, the Theater and Performing Arts Commission, and Visit Saudi, to offer the audience distinctive entertainment that relies on a number of concerts and diverse comedy plays.
