An Indian craftsman amazed visitors to Boulevard World, one of the 15 entertainment zones in Riyadh Season 2022, by making ornaments with natural colors and fire.
The craftsman, called Shand Mohammed, traveled from India to Boulevard World to present the history of his profession and hobby to visitors of Riyadh Season by crafting accessories and prayer beads. He dazzled visitors of the zone with his skill through the use of fire and the colors of glue from trees, as he mixes these natural colors with fire and prepares them for sale within five minutes.
Shand Mohammed presents his expertise in the India sub-zone, one of the sub-zones of Boulevard World. He has been practicing the profession, which he learned from his ancestors, for more than 35 years. His sons also accompany him to introduce visitors to their goods and products, which have been a major attraction for visitors, especially in the details of the colorful prayer beads and accessories.
The history of making Indian ornaments, according to Shand Mohammed, goes back to the history of India itself, as it has constituted one of the most prominent traditions in India.
As part of the Boulevard World activities, the India sub-zone has been able to attract the attention of Riyadh Season visitors because it embraces models of Indian buildings and explores Indian heritage, as its corridors simulate the Indian traditional streets, which display fashion and luxury handmade artifacts.
Boulevard World receives visitors daily from 3 pm until 11 pm. Entry tickets can be booked via the link:
