Today, the activities of Fan Festival, one of the 15 entertainment zones in Riyadh Season 2022, kicked off with broadcasting the opening match of the World Cup, which brought together the teams of Qatar and Ecuador. Visitors watched the match on a giant screen and enjoyed the opening ceremony and all the details that took place on the football pitch and the stands.
Football fans enjoyed the vibes of the World Cup, amidst a range of entertainment options that allowed them to watch the match and enjoy the activities of the zone, which included a DJ show and roving shows.

Fan Festival includes a virtual arena in which FIFA, Fortnite and Tekken tournaments are held, in addition to many Esports challenges, which can be entered for free. It also contains an interactive stadium that provides a new interactive experience for players, challenging their football skills.
The zone offers roving shows presented by professional performers as part of mobile sports shows, in addition to Fashion Hive, which includes many stores that sell local and international clothes and sports shoes.
Visitors to the zone can enter Play Zone, which is the games area. It includes bowling, billiards and teqball using football.
The zone also includes a museum that contains 25 screens, displaying the career of the footballer Diego Armando Maradona with an artistic and historical vision, as well as interactive experiences of the most important football moments of the player. In addition, the New Castle World area displays information about the history of New Castle Club.
Riyadh Season 2022 features 15 diverse entertainment zones, including the largest man-made lake in the world, cable car transportation, cloud-embracing lounges, the international Cirque du Soleil, many sporting events such as WWE, and Riyadh Season Cup that brings together the Paris Saint-Germain club with the stars of Al Hilal and Al Nasr football clubs, and various activities for families, individuals and children.
