As part of Riyadh Season 2022, the activities of Al-Suwaidi Park zone kicked off today, Saturday, October 22, welcoming visitors with performances beyond imagination that showcase the cultures of 7 diverse countries, in addition to distinctive experiences for visitors.
Al-Suwaidi Park hosts a weekly festival that reflects the cultures of the Philippines, India, Indonesia, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Sudan and Bangladesh. The festival aims to introduce visitors to the lifestyles in those countries, in terms of tradition, music, shows and folk dances.
The events in Suwaidi Park include weekly bazaars of various cultures, in addition to artistic performances and live music on the main stage of the zone during the weekend. There are also outdoor seating areas and fun games in the Spirit of Adventure section.
The zone offers children a variety of activities, including cycling, drawing, handicrafts, and playing the role of farmers in a journey filled with agricultural activities.
Al-Suwaidi Park, which was established in 1983, is distinguished by its beautiful atmosphere and vital facilities, such as a family park, a walking and running route, seating areas and restaurants and cafes. There are also children’s playgrounds, including swings and games. The Park extends over an area of more than 100,000 square meters south of the capital, Riyadh.
The zone receives visitors daily throughout the season from 4 pm until 12 midnight and offers them a variety of activities and entertainment options, including games, music, shops and cafes.
Riyadh season 2022 is characterized by the variety of its options, offering a range of entertainment activities in the fields of games, cafes and restaurants, fireworks, concerts and local and international shows.
