Today, the Riyadh Homecoming festival concludes its two-week activities, which witnessed exceptional events for the first time in the Kingdom, such as Star Return 2022, in which international football stars played against 100 boys and girls at Mrsool Park Stadium, in addition to Disney on Ice shows. The festival also allowed children to meet the singer Rasha Rizk, who presented distinctive musical pieces and soundtracks. Rizk performed yesterday, Sunday, and performs today at the end of the festival activities.
The festival, which started on August 23, hosted theatrical performances for the first time, most notably the theatrical performance “University of Rioters” and the Circus play, in addition to many entertainment and educational events and shows suitable for families and children. There were also many shops selling school supplies.
The festival, which was held in the capital, Riyadh, also presented interactive experiences and activities that combined knowledge and entertainment, making it suitable for all ages and covering the various interests of visitors.
The Riyadh Homecoming festival was distinguished by its various programs that contributed to enabling children to choose their future professions in the professions and jobs building.
During the days of the festival, children enjoyed 6 interactive experiences in the fields of environmental sciences, biology and chemistry, in addition to a space experiment featuring simulated reality, virtual travel to Mars, inspirational arts for children, and a number of shows and exhibitions.
During the past two weeks, the cinema at the festival constituted a distinctive family experience, allowing children and their parents the option of family viewing, while the experience of the profession contributed to determining the aspirations and future directions of children, through various tracks, including architecture, fashion studio, and media experience.
The activities of the Riyadh Homecoming festival were accompanied by areas dedicated to restaurants and cafes, stores, games, centers for selling school supplies and a number of family events.
