The Green Earth area in the Science Tent is one of the knowledge and entertainment sites at the Riyadh Homecoming festival, offering various experiences for children, including plant simulation and exploration of extinct animals through a range of cognitive aids to engage in group experiences that stimulate the desire to explore and reach conclusions.
In Green Earth, children live the experience of identifying animals and the causes of their extinction through virtual travel to their locations across the globe. Children receive paper passports that are stamped every time they cross virtually from one country to another, which contributes to the children’s experience of learning about large and extinct groups of animals.
An entertaining character, dressed in a sunflower costume, accompanies the children in the planting experience and allows them to take the plants they have planted to watch their growth and enhance their cognitive curiosity. The children also witness the experience of creating rain clouds through safe and easy-to-use tools that give the little ones the fun of the experience and provide them with all the informational aspects.
Green Earth is characterized by exciting elements and experiences and the presence of specialists in cognitive activities who answer children’s questions and share information with them in a simplified and clear manner that enhances their potential and abilities.
The festival, which continues until 5 September, welcomes visitors from 6:00 pm to 12:00 midnight on weekdays, and from 6:00 pm to 1:00 am on weekends. Entry tickets cost SAR20 each and can be booked via the link:
