GEA has issued 969 permits for the 93rd National Day events in Saudi Arabia. These permits cover a wide range of activities and programs, including fire shows, concerts, military parades, and entertainment events in different cities and regions across the country.
Riyadh Province received the highest number of permits with 330, followed by Makkah Province with 261, and the Eastern Province with 153. Other provinces such as Asir, Al-Qassim, Madinah, Jazan, Hail, Tabuk, Al-Baha, Al-Jawf, Najran, and the Northern Borders also held a significant number of events.
Based on GEA’s statistics regarding events held in various Saudi provinces, Asir held 40 events, Al-Qassim 32 events, and Madinah and Jazan 31 events each. Hail also held 29 events, Tabuk 25 events, Al-Baha and Al-Jawf 13 events each, Najran 6 events, and the Northern Borders 5 events.
The issuance of these permits represents a new record for the entertainment sector in the Kingdom, which continues to experience growth and development under the guidance and support of the visionary Saudi leadership.
GEA serves as the regulatory authority for the entertainment industry in Saudi Arabia and facilitates the permit process through its electronic Entertainment Portal, which aims to regulate and enhance the sector by collaborating with various stakeholders.
