HE Turki Alalshikh, Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority (GEA), announced a new milestone for Riyadh Season 2024, with visitor numbers surpassing 13 million so far. This achievement underscores the remarkable success and massive public enthusiasm for this global event.
This milestone reflects the diverse offerings of the season, which began last October and recently saw the opening of several popular attractions, including The Groves and Souq Al-Awleen. The latter, a free-entry zone, highlights Saudi heritage, traditional crafts, and authentic local cuisine.
Additionally, the Courchevel area in Boulevard World has been introduced, offering visitors an exceptional snowy experience.
The historic rematch between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury, under the title Usyk, Fury Reignited in Riyadh, also drew massive audiences locally and internationally.
Another highlight was the eagerly awaited opening of the Boulevard Runway zone, developed in collaboration with Saudia. This innovative area offers visitors a unique blend of aviation and entertainment experiences.
The impressive visitor numbers underscore the outstanding success of Riyadh Season, which provides an integrated experience through a wide array of events. These include boxing and wrestling matches, world-class concerts, restaurants, parks, and breathtaking entertainment experiences in new and creative zones.
